Research Interests:
His main interests are the materials design by first-principles electronic calculations. The materials studied are semiconductors, especially hard materials. Superconducting semiconductors are recent topics of his study. Not only ground states but finite-temperature properties and accordingly the design for material preparation are the distinct feature of his study.
