Research Interests:
The Laser Electron Photon beamline at SPring-8 (LEPS) produces GeV photon beams by the backward Compton scattering of ultraviolet laser photons off 8 GeV electrons circulating in the SPring-8 synchrotron radiation ring. We study structures and interactions of hadrons using the highly polarized photon beam. The LEPS collaboration consists of 70 members from more than 20 institutes around the world.
